You know how some life-changing inventions were created by accident? Penicillin was just a mold that grew in a rather untidy scientist's lab. The Slinky was born when a WWII era engineer dropped a spring while working on a submarine gauge. And bubble wrap was supposed to be wallpaper. Classy. 

So too is the rather circuitous origin story BlowfishSport. The formula was originally created as the perfect hangover remedy. And it is. Since launching in 2012, Blowfish for Hangovers has grown into America's #1 remedy.

But quickly, we started to notice something—more and more customers mentioning they took Blowfish, not for hangovers, but as a pre-workout drink. And it makes sense. Fast-acting, yet gentle, pain relief and a kick of energy without the acidity of coffee—or the crash of sugary drinks.

Over time, and all on its own, Blowfish for Hangovers became a cult favorite at Crossfit boxes, among endurance athletes, and MMA enthusiasts. So we decided to embrace the phenomenon and took the same formula, put it new box, and marketed it as BlowfishSport. We're hoping athletes everywhere discover the amazing pre-workout drink we stumbled upon, kinda by accident.
